Allentown Fleetwings right-hander Flinn Mitchell pitched a good game against the Ottawa Capitals at Capitals Stadium, leading his team to victory, 3-2. The winner was Allentown reliever Will Neil, now 3-1. The loser was Jonathan Walker. Pete Mellema sewed up the save, his 1st.

Willie Aranda, the 32-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Aranda contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Allentown up, 3-2.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Aranda said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Fleetwings go to 17-29 with the win.
