Knights Earn 9-8 Win Versus Texans
Knights second baseman Ricky Sori put his stamp on his team's 9-8 win over the Dallas Texans. Sori was 2-2 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Los Angeles in the contest. The Knights raised their record to 25-36.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the eighth, with the game tied, Harry Pinard was at the plate when Los Angeles scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Knights to go in front, 9-8.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Dallas manager Nigel Laverick. "But we decided not to take it."
