Calgary Caracals starter Pat Purcell turned in a top-notch performance against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Caracals Stadium. The result was a win for the Caracals, 1-0. Purcell got the win, improving to 6-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Purcell allowed no runs. Brent Farwell earned the save, his 8th.
