Goldeyes Get One-Run Win at Allentown
In a low-scoring affair between the Winnipeg Goldeyes and the Allentown Fleetwings, pitcher Paul Fette was the difference between victory and defeat. The Winnipeg right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Goldeyes win. Picking up the save was Rhys Fox, his 2nd. The Goldeyes, now 17-13, have won 4 in a row.

Chad Fergerson, who leads the in runs scored with 25, aided the Winnipeg cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Winnipeg manager Chris Vernon.
