Ichikawa Hits Two Homers in 5-4 Win for Hamilton
Hamilton beat Calgary at Hamilton Park, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to first baseman Hidemitsu Ichikawa. He went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Pat Clemon, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-2. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 1. Hamilton has now won 3 in a row.

The Tigers got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Mike Bradford. For the game, Bradford went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Hamilton a 4-3 lead.
