Texans Best Keystones in Pitching Duel
|
In a tight game between the Dallas Texans and the Philadelphia Keystones, pitcher Bobby Dirnberger was terrific on the mound. The Dallas right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. Bryan Largent earned the save for Dallas, his 13th. Dallas now sits in third place in the West Division at 28-31.
Dallas relied on the hitting of Eddy Little to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Texans on top, 2-1. For the game, Little had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
