Southern California rode a decent outing from starter Aidan Kelly to victory over the Winnipeg Goldeyes. The final score was 4-3. Southern California reliever Mike Gaston was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was David Banks. With the win, Southern California pushed its record to 14-8.

Southern California took a 4-3 lead on Brad Curran's 7th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Curran hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Winnipeg pitcher David Banks visibly frustrated.
