Moose Walk It Off for 6th Win of Season
|
The Saskatoon Moose did just enough to sneak past the Newark Eagles, 3-2, at Moose Grounds. Saskatoon pitcher Tristan Parker, in particular, had a standout performance. Saskatoon reliever John Cook picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Oliver McPeak absorbed the loss. The win gives Saskatoon a record of 6-4.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Saskatoon trailing 2-1, Giordano Arnaldi jumped on a 1-0 fastball from Oliver McPeak for a 2-run home run, sending the Moose to a walk-off win.
"We found a way to get it done," Arnaldi said.
