Boston Shamrocks starter Francisco Chavez turned in an exceptional performance against the Denver Cutthroats at Cutter's Cove, resulting in a Boston win, 3-1. Boston now sits at 25-28, while Denver falls to 20-34.
Boston used a well-timed hit by Cody Eleam to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Chavez told the Boston News.
