Peanuts Take Nail-Biter Over Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks got a sterling performance from pitcher Edwin Quevedo, but the San Francisco Peanuts still prevailed, 4-3. Quevedo threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball. San Francisco now sits in 4th place in the West Division at 24-30.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when catcher Johnny Wallace hit a run-scoring single. The Peanuts went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Wallace after the game.
