The Boston Shamrocks and Los Angeles Knights put on quite a show.

Starting pitcher Chris Nester was a major factor in the 3-1 Boston Shamrocks triumph over the Los Angeles Knights. The win belongs to Tony Sunderman in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Scott Lovely took the loss for Los Angeles.

Boston used a clutch hit from Howie Park to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"Chris -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Shamrocks manager Chris Ragan. "He was the key to us winning."

The Shamrocks now have a record of 24-27.
