Warriors Lose Late, 6-3
|
Washington first baseman Dustin Denmark was sensational. He was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Dallas beat the Warriors, 6-3. The Texans now own a record of 25-24.
Dallas used a clutch hit from John Parker to get the win. The catcher drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Texans ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Parker told the Dallas Times.
