Los Angeles pitcher Bill Ravey did his part in helping his team beat the Washington Warriors, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. At 16-24, the Knights claim 5th place in the West Division.
Bill Flohrs hit a run-scoring triple off Antonio Maytorena in the top of the first, which put the Knights in front, 1-0. Flohrs had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 4.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Flohrs said.
