Professional Baseball Circuit Names #1 Manager Friday, October 26th , 2001 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Dick Granade, he seems to have taken the Detroit Motors to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Professional Baseball Circuit for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Granade led Detroit to a first place finish in the East Division. The Motors ended up with a 55-33 record. |
