2001 Best PBC Rookie Picked Sunday, October 14th , 2001 This year's outstanding newcomer has been selected and the honor goes to the Washington rookie Dustin Denmark -- the recipient of the 2001 Professional Baseball Circuit Rookie of the Year Award. The talented Warriors first baseman took the trophy by hitting .234 in 86 games this season and finished with 75 hits, 17 home runs, 45 RBIs and 57 runs scored. Todd Ingalls of the Denver Cutthroats finished second in voting, while Ryan Lunsford of the St. Louis Lions finished third. |
