Detroit Motors Win Pro Circuit Cup Friday, October 12th , 2001 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Detroit Motors, that meant the Professional Baseball Circuit Pro Circuit Cup trophy. The Motors took a 7-0 victory over the Dallas Texans at Detroit Stadium, winning their 1st championship after taking the series 4-2. "We've got grit," said Motors right fielder Zack Taylor, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
