Big Month for PBC Rookie Monday, October 1st , 2001 Dustin Denmark's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Washington first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .280 with 1 double, no triples and 9 home runs. Denmark also scored 12 times and drove in 16 runs. So far this year Denmark has 17 home runs and a .234 batting average. |
