Jeff Franco Claims 2001 PBC Batting Title Saturday, September 29th , 2001 The Professional Baseball Circuit season came to a close with Jeff Franco on top with a league-leading .350 batting average. The 30-year-old Washington third baseman swung the bat well the entire season. He concluded the year with 106 hits, 22 doubles, no triples and 6 home runs with 37 runs scored and 48 RBIs. |
