St. Louis Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Saturday, September 29th , 2001 The mood in the St. Louis Lions clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Lions starting pitcher Brad Kuhlman. "Nobody to blame but us." The Lions are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |
