Playoffs Won't Happen for Peanuts Wednesday, September 26th , 2001 They remained in the thick of things for most of the 2001 season, but the hopes of a playoff berth are now over for the San Francisco Peanuts. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the playoff. The Peanuts are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |
