Randy Mills Sidelined for Season Thursday, August 9th , 2001 When Randy Mills was hurt against the Los Angeles Knights, the Philadelphia Keystones were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 29-year-old second baseman suffered a broken kneecap running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Mills would miss 7-8 months of the season. Mills is currently hitting at a .264 pace with 1 home run and 13 RBIs. |
