Mullaly Powers Keystones to 6-2 Win
Led by Ben Mullaly, the Philadelphia Keystones downed the Houston Mavericks, 6-2. Mullaly was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Keystones. The Mavericks fall to 5-7 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2001 season.

Mullaly contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Philadelphia in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Mullaly took a sinker from Daniel Ramos and stroked the home run to right. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Keystones to leap in front, 4-2.

Mullaly attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
