The Dallas Texans stopped the Los Angeles Knights, 4-3, at Los Angeles Grounds. The Texans got a big game from John Parker, who went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Chris Kaplan got credit for the save for Dallas. It was his 25th of the year. Los Angeles now has a 5-game losing streak.

Dallas used the timely hitting of Paul Abrantes to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Texans on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

After the game, Dallas manager Nigel Laverick applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
