Cassidy Blasts Motors, Texans Take Game 3, 8-5
The Dallas Texans have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Detroit Motors, winning 8-5 at Texans Park today. Texans center fielder Josh Cassidy was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win cuts the deficit facing the Texans to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Pro Circuit Cup.

Paul Abrantes hit a run-scoring double off Steve Aubin in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Texans in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Abrantes had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"The vibe's good," said Dallas manager Nigel Laverick. "We've got to keep it going."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Texans Park in Dallas.
