Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Philadelphia Keystones got the win.

The Philadelphia Keystones faced a tough opponent in Houston pitcher Cory Ionescu, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Mavericks Ballpark by a final score of 4-2. Ionescu went 5.2 innings and allowed no runs. The winning pitcher was Matthew Steele. He's now 6-3. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Keystones. Dave Kaminski closed it out for his 12th save.

Philadelphia used the timely hitting of Ruben Franco to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Keystones on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Franco told the Philadelphia Daily.

Today's win puts Philadelphia at 26-30, while Houston falls to 28-28.
