Pitcher Chris Roche was sensational for the Chicago Blackhawks in his team's 4-1 triumph over the New York City Blues. Roche picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Roche went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 5, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-1. The Blackhawks' win now puts them at 14-10.

Chicago used a clutch hit from Chris Kelso to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blackhawks ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Kelso attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
