Peters Garners PBC Top Skipper Award Thursday, October 26th , 2000 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Joe Peters, he seems to have taken the Denver Cutthroats to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Professional Baseball Circuit for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Peters led Denver to a second place finish in the West Division. The Cutthroats ended up with a 53-35 record. |
