Cutthroats Ace PBC's Best Pitcher Saturday, October 14th , 2000 Professional Baseball Circuit hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2000 season when the Denver manager wrote "Pat Winston" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 14-4 mark and 1.83 ERA in 22 starts, tossed 162.2 innings, fanned 213 and held opposing teams to a .195 average. For his superb season Winston was today named the PBC Pitcher of the Year Award winner. Kamlyn Ogawa of the Houston Mavericks finished second in voting, while Jose Ortiz of the San Francisco Peanuts finished third. |
