Cutthroats Cruise to Pro Circuit Cup with Sweep Tuesday, October 3rd , 2000 Bobby Schiller said he expected the Cup Qualifier to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Denver Cutthroats encountered little resistance in sweeping the Houston Mavericks, to advance to the Pro Circuit Cup. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Schiller. Denver won the final game by a 2-0 count and were led in the series by Schiller, who was named MVP.
