Knights Walk Off with 6-5 Win
The Los Angeles Knights beat the Washington Warriors, 6-5, in part because of left fielder Mahinaee Kahanu. He was 5 for 5 with 5 singles. Los Angeles reliever Bobby Barrette picked up the win, while Cory Murnane took the loss for Washington. The Warriors, now 4-8, continue their poor start.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Los Angeles trailing 5-3, Cheng-qian He jumped on a 2-0 fastball from Cory Murnane for a 3-run home run, sending the Knights to a walk-off win.

"Winning is always a team effort," Kahanu said after the game.
