The Philadelphia Keystones got a superb performance from pitcher Danny Behnam. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Boston. The Shamrocks won the game, 4-3. Behnam threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Lloyd Woolfrey earned the win to go to 5-4. He allowed 3 runs on 10 hits, with 5 walks and 3 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. Ruben Wirtz was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 24 save opportunities.

Boston used a timely hit from Jason Prophitt to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Boston manager Chris Ragan. "It's usually not just one thing."

The win gives Boston a season record of 39-29.
