The Philadelphia Keystones wiggled past the Los Angeles Knights, 3-2, at Philadelphia Grounds. The win was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia pitcher Matthew Steele. Reliever Matt Watson picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Carlos Fonseca took the loss. The win gives Philadelphia a record of 4-3.

The Keystones procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Drew Brooks. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Steele said in his postgame press conference.
