Davis Hurls Shutout
|
Jason Davis of the Chicago Blackhawks was one tough customer on the hill today, blanking the New York City Blues 7-0 on 4 hits.
"When he's on, he's tough to hit," said New York City manager JR Vaughn after the game. "He's just a bulldog out there."
The 27-year-old Blackhawks left-hander registered 7 strikeouts and allowed no walks and 4 hits.
This season Davis has compiled a 1-4 record with a 4.93 ERA in 6 starts.
